Leadership
Founder and Chief Consultant
Dr. Jenkins is a scientist with over 15 years of experience in machine learning, data science, signal processing, and project management.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy’s submarine force, he has successfully lead teams in a variety of challenging and technical environments ranging from scientific collaborations to complex operational settings.
Dr. Jenkins has a strong background in data analysis, algorithm development, and software development, with a focus on creating innovative, data-driven solutions to complex problems.
Dr. Jenkins earned his PhD at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UC San Diego, where he performed research on adapting machine learning techniques to seismic and acoustic signal processing.
He has published papers in peer-reviewed journals and presented his work at numerous international conferences.
Dr. Jenkins also holds an MS with distinction in Engineering Acoustics from the Naval Postgraduate School; an MA with highest distinction in Defense and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College; and a BS with merit in Oceanography from the US Naval Academy.
